1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of crochetty.com and the purchase of products from Crochetty, a handcrafted crochet boutique based in the Netherlands. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

2. Ordering & Payment

• All prices are displayed in Euros (€) and include applicable Dutch VAT (21 %).
• Payments are processed securely through Mollie B.V., our certified payment provider. Accepted methods include iDEAL, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, Bancontact, and other local EU methods.
• Your order is confirmed once payment has been successfully authorised. You will receive a confirmation email.
• We reserve the right to cancel orders in the event of pricing errors or stock unavailability, with a full refund issued promptly.

3. Made-to-Order Lead Times

The majority of our products are made by hand after your order is placed. By ordering, you acknowledge and accept the following lead times:

• Standard items: 3–7 business days production time before dispatch.
• Custom / personalised orders: 2–4 weeks production time. Custom orders require a 50 % deposit at the time of order confirmation.
• Lead times are estimates and may vary during busy periods. We will notify you promptly of any significant delays.

4. Shipping & Delivery

• We ship to the Netherlands, European Union, and internationally. Rates and estimated delivery times are listed on our Shipping page. Shipping Info.
• Risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.
• International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees levied by their local authority. Crochetty has no control over these charges.
• We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, customs authorities, or events beyond our reasonable control.

5. Returns & Refunds

• Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery for unused, unworn items in original condition.
• Custom and personalised orders are non-returnable unless faulty.
• Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.
• You have statutory rights under European consumer protection law that these Terms do not affect.

6. Product Descriptions & Colours

We take great care to accurately describe and photograph our products. However, colours may vary slightly due to monitor calibration differences. Because our items are handmade, minor variations in stitch tension, dimensions (±2 cm), and colour tone are inherent and not considered defects.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on crochetty.com — including designs, photographs, text, and the Crochetty name and logo — is the intellectual property of Crochetty and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Crochetty shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence grants you broader rights.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
